Is the Sir’ly Machinist an Artist?
For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved things made of metal.
I have two decades of experience as a machinist; cutting, forming, and bending metal and raw materials to close tolerances. I’ve worked very hard to develop my expertise in this craft, always striving to achieve the highest standards of quality.
I have the ability to take something: mediocre, something ugly, or something that doesn’t work and forever change it for the better. I can transform it into something extraordinary, something beautiful, or something that works flawlessly.
So I ask you, does that make me an Artist?
